INSTALL YOUR AFTERMARKET CATBACK THE RIGHT WAY!

Exhaust leaks seem to be an all-too-common issue with most modded Subarus. They tend to spring up out of nowhere and cause hours of troubleshooting headaches. One of the most common leaks that we hear about is from running an OEM downpipe with an aftermarket 3" catback without a proper adapter. Use an adapter that allows you to retain your stock donut gasket for the best solution to finally end that pesky leak.

  • Flanged for OEM Donut Gasket
  • Machined lip centers 2-Bolt Gasket

  • CNC Machined Steel Construction
    (Zinc coated for durability)
  • Simple bolt on installation
    (Supplied with quality hardware)
  • Includes GrimmSpeed 3" 2x Thick Gasket
    (For a PERFECT seal!)

CNC machined from mild steel and zinc coated for durability and longevity, this thing will outlast your car. Don't waste your time trying to get your OEM downpipe to seal without a donut gasket. In a short amount of time, they rust and corrode and will prevent you from ever getting a good seal with a typical flat gasket. Re-use your stock donut gasket along with a GrimmSpeed 2x Thick 3" Gasket (included) for a perfect seal on the first try!

A final solution to pesky problems, it's what you can expect from GrimmSpeed.

Fitment Note: A dapter is only intended to be used for connecting an OEM Downpipe to an aftermarket Catback. We produce a different adapter for the opposite purpose.

Works as expected, easy to install

Not much else to say other than thing does its job. If you have a stock DP and are planning on replacing the catback exhaust, just buy it from here. Fast shipping!

Works perfectly

Bought this to install my cobb S3 CATBACK delete on my 2017 WRX, Fitment was great and install was easy . Three weeks now and its being great so far.

Sealed up my midpipe exhaust leak

I bought the Oem to 3" catback exhaust adapter even though I thought I had tightened up the nuts and bolts to seal the oem doughnut gasket to my 3" catback exhaust in my 2011 Legacy GT. To my surprise, after installing the flange and 2x thicker 3" gasket to the oem doughnut, I got a perfect seal. My catback lines up better and no more leaks. Exhaust flow and torque is noticeable and no more exhaust leak noises under the car during startup. I think that even if you think you dont have an exhaust leak with your oem downpipe to aftermarket exhaust, get this adapter and be 100% sure. Youll be happy you did.

quality adapter

The adapter is a hi quality piece. I ordered this along with a new donut gasket to mate up a stock downpipe to a 3 inch catback exhaust on my 2017 Forester xt. Perfect seal. Why bother attempting to use just a standard gasket to seal the most prone area for exhaust leaks. Do your self a favor and buy this. No regrets from me.

Amazing!

Gets the job done, super easy too install and no leaks what so ever. However, after installing the catback, drive around 100 miles and tighten the bolts one more time to ensure a good, snug hold. Once again, excellent product!

perfect for running stock downpipe to aftermarket exhaust!

Works perfect for mating the stock downpipe to aftermarket exhaust! Everything sealed up nice and tight with no leaks! Definitely recommend!!

Easy install, fixed leak

I am running a 3" Invidia N1 to a stock downpipe. I initially installed it w/o the adaptor or donut gasket and noticed shortly thereafter an exhaust leak. Bought th Grimmspeed adaptor w/ OEM donut gasket and my leak problem is solved. Super easy install too!

great quality piece worked for the job

First of all. The quality of this part and the gasket are top notch! I would recommend however you use spring bolts or locking. Washers/nuts in place of the bolts they provide... They came off after a few drives... Also get the donut gasket and save yourself the pain of going to the part store... Haha! Overall installation was a breeze! The hardest part was just jacking up the car!

OEM DP to Catback Adapter

Another great product from GrimmSpeed! Replacing the doughnut gasket with a flat gasket is always a gamble when installing a catback. I used this adapter and, for the first time in years, there is no leak from between the downpipe and the CBE! One word of caution, though. The flange on the stock DP is ridiculously thin. Mine started to bend before the bolts were properly torqued. I solved this by putting a handful of washers on the bolts between the two flanges, but not so many that they were packed in there right off the bat. Once the gasket sealed and the DP flange started to bow, the spaces between the washers closed and everything tightened up nicely.

great product

Bought this to fix the exhuast leak i had from installing my n1 catback and the worst part was the wait, great quality and fitment.

Perfect fit

This gasket fit perfectly between my stock '16 WRX DP and my 3" ETS exhaust. Quality product as usual from GS

great product

The material seems real solid. For ment was spot on. No complaints.

Stock dp to aftermarket cat back adapter

This adapter works great for retaining a stockdownpipe with a donut gasket when installing an aftermarket cat back the requires a 3 inch flange style. Also comes with the flange gaskets and hardware.

Simple Easy Design

This thing was easy to install and did the job perfect when you're just installing a catback to a stock DP. Well done guys.
